We interact with the following data to provide our core features and manage service communication:

• Personal Information (Email Address): We collect your email address solely for Developer Communications (when you contact us via support links) and Account Management (facilitated by the Google Play Billing System for subscription verification).
• Physical Activity (Steps): StepBlock uses device hardware sensors (Step Counter) to track step counts. This data remains on your device and is used to unlock apps based on your goals.
• App Usage Information: We require Usage Access permissions to detect foreground apps. This allows the app to trigger blocking functionality when goals are not met.

2. Privacy Standards

To ensure maximum privacy, we adhere to the following standards:

• Local Storage: Your step history and app-blocking configurations are stored locally on your device.
• No Unauthorized Tracking: We do not track your geographical location (GPS) or monitor the specific content (messages, passwords) within the apps you use.
• Data Minimization: Transmission of personal info is strictly limited to the email address required for technical support and Google Play subscription management.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

StepBlock offers subscription-based features. Payments and subscription status are handled exclusively through the Google Play Billing System. We do not have access to your credit card details. Your email address associated with your Google Play account is used to verify and manage your subscription status.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Local data is retained while the App is installed. You can delete all local data by clearing the App's cache/storage. For data related to your Google Play subscription or emails sent to support, retention is governed by Google Play's policies and standard support communication records.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in app functionality or regulatory requirements. We will notify users by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
